Our Students

The students within the Cessnock Community of Great Public Schools are our greatest assets and the centre of everything we do. Our goal is to provide a quality education for every child that prepares them for life beyond school, and allows them to meet their future goals and aspirations. We provide a wide range of opportunities that allow each child to identify their strengths and develop their weaknesses to be the best that they can be. Our students achieve great things on a daily basis in our schools and are the envy of those around us.

Kitchener Advocacy

"We love Kitchener Public School because it is small, friendly and everyone looks after each other. The teachers and students work hard and are very nice. We love that we have a vege garden and we get to look after chooks and we have The Active After School Program. We really like Kitchener school because we can be whatever we want to be - it is great!"

Conjewai Advocacy

"The smaller number of students in my school makes it easier to talk to the teachers and mix with my peers. The teachers take a genuine interest in my education as well as my life in general. The teachers give us lots of really exciting lessons and encourage us to be involved in community activities with other schools. I would recommend Congewai Public School as it is a really safe and happy environment with very positive learning experiences."

East Cessnock Advocacy

"Throughout my seven years at East Cessnock Public School I was encouraged by the teaching staff to participate in all areas of education from the classroom to the sporting field. I formed great relationships with a number of the local teachers, many of whom I am still in contact with today. The values and standards that were instilled and expected of me have influenced me throughout the rest of my school life and into my career".
